Los Angeles, California to Santiago, Chile
About the Ship Dec 7-23

We boarded the @Celebritycruises Eclipse ship for 16 nights with 2400 other guests. Although it was a big ship we found lots of quiet spaces. We enjoyed swimming early or late in the day. This was the first ship we’ve seen with a real grass lawn. The library is a beautiful spot and a live tree is suspended between the elevators in the great hall. They trimmed the tree🌳 during our voyage. The Martini Bar had the nicest decor and we often visited the Cafe for snacks.
The nightly entertainment was stellar! We enjoyed the various acts of talented musicians, dancers and singers. We also were impressed with @jakobtrasak a Czech violinist 🎻 One clear night we learned to identify nearby planets and constellations at a stargazing meet-up.
We enjoyed excellent service and varied menus in the main dining room each night. My favourite dessert was called Paris meets New York (cheesecake-filled eclair) Our room attendant was awesome. Fredie kept our stateroom in perfect condition!

I took my first plane ride at 6 months of age and I have never looked back! I met my husband because of a travel photo. Together, we have travelled to 47 countries; some for a day and some for a couple of years! We love to share what we have learned along the way to make travel easier for those of us who are middle-aged with mid-range budgets.
