About Us
I took my first plane ride at 6 months of age, and I have never looked back! I met my husband because of a travel photo. Together, we have travelled to 54 countries; some for a day and some for a few years!
We are a 50+ middle-aged Canadian couple. We love to travel and we love returning home to our family, friends and pup, Penny.
We downsized to a “lock and leave” home in 2017 and retired in 2021. Now is our time to see new places! We are in our go-go years!
We created a blog for two reasons: to record our experiences and to share tips we learn along the way.
