Taking a repositioning cruise often means that you have days on the sea. Some people view that as a negative. We don’t.
We enjoy the mix of ports and sea days. We find repositioning cruises suit us.
On our sea days we enjoy relaxing on our balcony sipping coffee, looking for wildlife and watching sunsets.  It’s nice to not be on a schedule. I am “unplugged” on cruises, so sea days provide me with some digital detox time. As avid readers we look forward to some quiet reading time or a short afternoon nap;)
Longer cruises also means that you get to meet more people. We love hearing their stories! some are honeymooners, some are travelling full time and use cruises to transport themselves to their next adventure. Its always interesting to hear their stories. We make connections at dinner and through the activities that the cruise provides. I always make connections when I try the arts and crafts workshops. After a sea day we then look forward to the busyness of a port day and are ready to explore off the ship!

I took my first plane ride at 6 months of age and I have never looked back! I met my husband because of a travel photo. Together, we have travelled to 47 countries; some for a day and some for a couple of years! We love to share what we have learned along the way to make travel easier for those of us who are middle-aged with mid-range budgets.
